WALTON GOGGINS (lee todd) "I'm from the South. It's who I am." Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Walton was raised in a rural 1880s' Atlanta farmhouse with a family full of women. He is best known for his role in Robert Duvall's The Apostle, with Billy Bob Thornton and Miranda Richardson. Goggins has appeared in numerous films, including Mr. Saturday Night with Billy Crystal, and Forever Young with Mel Gibson and Jamie Lee Curtis. On Television, Walton has been seen in HBO's Cherokee Kid, NYPD Blue, I'll Fly Away, and In The Heat of The Night. With dark hair, piercing eyes, and an aura of deep intensity, Walton is a screen force to be reckoned with. Walton came to the set with his wife, Chris, and his Jack Russell Terrier, Moodog. Moodog became the official mascot on the Red Dirt set, running around with local dog, Dixie. Walton plays Lee, the rugged individual with a strong sense of character. Walton delved so deeply into his role that it was hard to tell where Walton ended and Lee began. |
